Spring Break Adventure, Wild flower Cakes
for families with children age 4 and older. March is the beginning of the growing season, a time to plant for a fabulous garden in the summer. Come and learn all about plant life cycles from seed to mature plant whilst making some Wild Flower Cakes. From 1 – 3 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Spring Break Adventure, Beaks, Feet & Things to Eat
for families with children age 4 and older. What does a duck like to eat with its soup? Quackers! Join us on this Family Adventure to discover which of our feathered friends make VanDusen their home and learn how the shape of their beaks and feet tell us what they eat. Spring Break Adventure, Nature’s Pigments and Brushes
for families with children age 4 and older. Imagine if you had been a caveman or a cavewomen and had wanted to communicate your thoughts and ideas: What would you have done? You could have used nature’s pigments to paint on the wall of your cave. What would you have used for a paint brush? From 1 – 3 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Spring Break Adventure, Season’s Greetings
for families with children age 4 and older. The month of March sees in the beginning of the season of spring in the Northern Hemisphere but in the Southern Hemisphere, it signals the start of autumn. Come and discover why we have changing seasons, how spring is celebrated by different cultures around the world and take part in our very own VanDusen celebration of spring.
